Packers QB Jordan Love (elbow) off injury report, set to start vs. Eagles in Sunday's wild-card tilt

Nineteen weeks ago, Jordan Love was unable to make it through the duration of the Green Bay Packers' season opener against the Philadelphia Eagles due to an MCL injury.

Love will look to finish what he started back in Week 1 as he's off the injury report and will start Sunday's Wild Card Weekend matchup against the host Eagles.

This time around, Love has been dealing with an elbow injury suffered in a Week 18 loss to the Chicago Bears, but he returned to practicing fully on Thursday and is good to go in Philadelphia.

When first the teams clashed this season, the Packers lost to the Eagles in the NFL's first foray into Brazil. Late in the game, Love injured his knee and didn't finish the contest.

It was the start of a season in which Love has had his share of injuries. He missed a pair of games due to the MCL sprain and later played through a groin injury. Now he'll play despite an elbow ailment.

He averaged 225.9 passing yards per game in the regular season with 25 touchdowns and 11 interceptions over 15 starts.

Arguably Love's most impressive career showing came in his playoff starting debut last season. He led the Packers to an upset win over the Dallas Cowboys, throwing for 273 yards and three touchdowns.

That wild-card game saw the Packers, seeded seventh, defeat the second-seeded Cowboys, champions of the NFC East.

This time around, No. 7 Green Bay will look to upset the No. 2 Eagles, who also won the NFC East.

A healthy Love will no doubt be looking to repeat history when the Packers (11-6) kick off against the Eagles (14-3) at 4:30 p.m. ET Sunday.
