Browns rookie DT Mike Hall Jr. arrested following domestic incident

Cleveland Browns rookie defensive tackle Michael Hall Jr. was arrested on Tuesday morning following a domestic incident, Avon (Ohio) police told NFL.com.

Police said Hall threatened his fiancee with a gun during a fight, police told The Associated Press on Tuesday. Hall was booked on a first-degree misdemeanor domestic violence charge, per a police spokesperson. Hall is expected to post bond and be released, per The AP.

Police were called to an address in Avon on Monday night after a woman accused Hall of pushing her daughter and hitting her with a baby bottle, per an incident report. The woman was not injured and declined an ambulance. Hall left the scene.

"We are aware of the incident involving Mike Hall, Jr. last night," the Browns said in a statement. "Mike and his representatives have been in touch with the appropriate authorities. We are in the process of gathering more information and will have no further comment at the time."

Hall, 21, was drafted by Cleveland with the 54th overall pick in the 2024 国产外流网Draft out of Ohio State. Hall played three seasons for the Buckeyes, totaling 45 tackles, 10 tackles for loss and six sacks in 19 games played. In Cleveland's preseason opener on Saturday, Hall played 29 defensive snaps and three special teams snaps, logging one tackle.
