Among the notable omissions from this list are LB Shaquem Griffin, who was added to the Seahawks' practice squad, CB Sidney Jones and WRs Ryan Switzer and Hakeem Butler.

The Bucs made their signing of running back Leonard Fournette official. They also re-signed center A.Q. Shipley, who they cut Saturday. In addition, Tampa Bay placed wide receiver John Hurst and guard John Molchon on Injured Reserve (minor designation).
- The Eagles plan to sign 41-year-old QB Josh McCown to their practice squad, . He added that the move gives Philly an insurance policy in the event of injury and allows McCown, who has aspirations of being a coach, to gain on-the-job training, albeit virtually, while living at home in Texas. The Eagles also placed safety Will Parks and wide receiver Quez Watkins on IR and released cornerback Cre'Von LeBlanc.

- The Panthers waived offensive tackle Matt Kaskey, safety Kenny Robinson and fan favorite defensive end Efe Obada to make room for waiver claims.
- The Las Vegas Raiders are signing linebacker Javin White to their practice squad, Garafolo reported. White drew praise from the coaching staff in camp, he added. Running back Dare Ogunbowale, who was released by the Bucs on Saturday, is visiting the Raiders, per Rapoport. The Raiders released guard Eric Kush off IR with an injury settlement. The team also placed LB Tanner Muse (toe) on IR in hopes that he'll be able to return this season, Pelissero reported, per an informed source. Muse is likely to miss at least a month.

- In response to their waiver claims, the Giants have released receiver Corey Coleman and offensive lineman Chade Slade, and waived safety Sean Chandler. New York also placed safety Xavier McKinney and linebacker David Mayo on IR and signed tight end Eric Tomlinson and defensive back Brandon Williams.

- A day after Deebo Samuel was activated from the non-football injury list, 49ers general manager John Lynch said the second-year wide receiver to play in next week's season opener, per the team website. Lynch added he hopes to have clarity on Samuel's status after upcoming discussions with his surgeon and the team physician. Samuel has been sidelined since breaking his foot in June. San Francisco announced it has released wide receiver J.J. Nelson off IR with an injury settlement.
