Lamar Jackson's blindside protector is staying put.
The Baltimore Ravens announced Saturday they have agreed to terms with left tackle Ronnie Stanley. Stanley's deal is for three years and worth $60 million, 国产外流网Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported shortly after.
Stanley, a nine-year veteran, is coming off his second career Pro Bowl season and was set to be the best left tackle to hit the free agency market this offseason. Instead, the No. 2 overall rated player from Gregg Rosenthal's top 101 free agents of 2025 decided to stick with the only 国产外流网team he's ever known.
One of Baltimore's unsung heroes keeping Jackson upright, Stanley originally joined the club as the No. 6 overall pick in the 2016 国产外流网Draft. He made his first Pro Bowl in 2019, an honor paired with his lone first-team All-Pro selection.
Stanley posted an 80.9 PFF pass-blocking grade last season, which marked the sixth time he's eclipsed a grade of 80 during his career.
If it can be believed, Jackson, a two-time Most Valuable Player, is still just "scratching the surface," Ravens offensive coordinator Todd Monken claimed earlier this week.
Keeping Stanley in the fold is exactly the type of move to help Monken and Jackson prove such a claim.
It also doesn't hurt that opponents will now be scrambling for plan B with the league's top free-agent tackle off the board.
