  • Head coach Kevin Stefanski told reporters Wednesday at the ¹ú²úÍâÁ÷Íøcombine that he expects Myles Garrett to play for Cleveland "this year, next year, the year after that and so on." Garrett requested a trade earlier this month. Browns general manager Andrew Berry said Tuesday that the team's stance on not trading Garrett has not changed. "[Garrett's] a part of the present," Stefanski said Wednesday. "He's a part of the future."

SIGNINGS

  • QB Brock Purdy and the 49ers have begun contract negotiations, general manager John Lynch told reporters at the ¹ú²úÍâÁ÷ÍøScouting Combine. “We want Brock to be our quarterback as long as we’re here," Lynch said. Purdy is entering the final year of his rookie contract in 2025.

Whitehead, who dealt with injuries in 2024, is expected to be fully healthy for the 2025 season, per Garafolo. Buccaneers general manager Jason Licht told reporters Tuesday that the door is open for Whitehead's return despite declining his option.

Landry has two years left on his deal and is owed $17.5 million in 2025 but has zero guaranteed money remaining. Landry, 28, has earned one Pro Bowl nod over seven ¹ú²úÍâÁ÷Íøseasons since being drafted in the second round by Tennessee in 2018.

Carter, the top prospect in the 2025 ¹ú²úÍâÁ÷ÍøDraft, told reporters at the ¹ú²úÍâÁ÷ÍøScouting Combine that he's "about 90 percent right now" in his return from a shoulder injury. Carter won't participate in drills while in Indianapolis but is planning to do most of his workouts at Penn State's pro day on March 28. Carter also has a stress reaction in his right foot and may need surgery, ¹ú²úÍâÁ÷ÍøNetwork Insider Ian Rapoport reported.

Williams told reporters Wednesday at the ¹ú²úÍâÁ÷Íøcombine that he played at 60% this past season while dealing with an ankle injury. The Georgia pass rusher added that he will work out at his pro day.
