RETIREMENTS

  • DE Vinny Curry will officially retire as a Philadelphia Eagle during Thursday's game against the Commanders. Curry will be recognized as an honorary team captain as he brings his 11-year career to a conclusion. Curry played eight years for the Eagles, helping the team to its only Super Bowl championship. He played one season with the Buccaneers in 2018, which came after six seasons with the Eagles and before another two-year stint in Philly. He last placed for the Jets in 2022. His career included 134 games, 28 starts, 209 tackles and 32.5 sacks.

  • LB Nick Herbig (hamstring) is expected to play in Sunday's game against the Ravens, per head coach Mike Tomlin.
  • LB Alex Highsmith (ankle) is dealing with a low ankle sprain and could miss two to three weeks, ¹ú²úÍâÁ÷ÍøNetwork Insider Ian Rapoport reported. Tomlin said earlier in the day that Highsmith was considered week to week.
