Start 'Em
Don鈥檛 look now, but Koo is getting hot! He has scored 18 and 16 fantasy points in his last two weeks. He was slow out the gate the first three weeks, but that wasn't his fault. We know Koo is reliable and with his offense starting to click and move the ball, he is putting up big fantasy numbers. I expect that to continue against a weak Panthers defense.
Hopefully you started McLaughlin last week when he dropped 16 fantasy points. But it isn't like this came out of nowhere. He has reached double figures in all but one game. That one game was just a dud by his offense. He's a very reliable real-life and fantasy option right now. Start him in an indoor, divisional game that could see some drives stalling out.
Is there such a thing as a boom-or-bust kicker? If so, Fairbairn would qualify. He has scored 15 or more fantasy points three times -- topping out at 19 points -- but in his other two games he had a combined seven fantasy points. The floor may not look that sturdy, but he is attached to an elite offense. I certainly expect the Texans to put up plenty of points this week. Start him.
How does the old saying go? "Jayden Daniels lifts all boats" ... or something like that. That's certainly the case for the Commanders' kicker. Seibert has 10 fantasy points in two straight. In his last four games, his low mark is eight and his high is 21. That's a safe floor and high ceiling. I trust Washington to move the ball this week and if they stall out in the red zone, it benefits Seibert. Get him in your lineup.
McPherson is coming off his worst fantasy game of the year. He made four extra points but no field goals ... and finished with four fantasy points. He missed a field goal -- but it wasn't his fault! The holder dropped the ball (literally). McPherson had scored between nine and 15 fantasy points in his three prior games. He is tied to a good offense, as well. I would continue rolling with him.
Sit 'Em
Little is coming off his best fantasy game of the season. But he still has seven fantasy points or fewer in three of five games. His offense has really struggled this season and now they have to face a tough Bears defense in London, where games don't tend to be high scoring. I would go in another direction.
The London two-for-one special! After a hot first two weeks, Santos has been held to just six fantasy points in three straight games. The floor is low and we have not seen a terribly high ceiling. I would play it safe and go in another direction.
Zuerlein has been held in single digits in all five games this season. His high mark is nine fantasy points. He has six or fewer in four games. His offense is just not putting him in a consistent position for kicks and until we see otherwise, there is no way you can trust him in fantasy.
We know Carlson is a good real-life kicker. Unfortunately, that does not always translate into fantasy points. He has reached double digits just twice this season and has been held under five fantasy points in the other three. There is no way I want to trust the Raiders offense to move the ball against the Steelers. Fade.
Joseph went off in Week 4 and finished with 17 fantasy points. He has just 14 in his other two games. The Giants have struggled to consistently move the ball on offense. I would go for a kicker with a safer floor.
