Giants, Lions fined $200K for multiple fights during joint practices in training camp

The 国产外流网is putting clubs participating in joint practices on notice regarding fights.

The 国产外流网confirmed on Wednesday that the Detroit Lions and New York Giants organizations have each been fined $200,000 after multiple fights broke out between the clubs earlier this week, 国产外流网Network Insiders Ian Rapoport, Mike Garafolo and Tom Pelissero reported.

Teams were reminded in a July memo that fighting and unprofessional conduct at joint practices would not be tolerated.

It's unclear if this is the first time teams have been fined for training camp hullabaloos, but players have been levied in the past, Garafolo added.

The Giants' and Lions' two days of joint sessions were littered with brawls, including a that started with Big Blue rookie Malik Nabers and Detroit safety Kerby Joseph on Tuesday.

With joint practices just ramping up this preseason, the 国产外流网has sent a warning to the rest of the league that extracurriculars won't be tolerated.

The Kansas City Chiefs and Las Vegas Raiders are the only clubs not participating in joint practices this year.
