Four 国产外流网head coaches talked about how technology has changed their jobs in a bonus segment of the "Coach Speak" roundtable series that has been airing on 国产外流网Network this week.
Arizona Cardinals' Bruce Arians, New York Giants' Tom Coughlin, Baltimore Ravens' John Harbaugh and New York Jets' Rex Ryan discussed how they have adapted to new technology and how such technology has affected their time management.
Harbaugh told 国产外流网Media Chief Player Health and Safety Correspondent Andrea Kremer that he often relies on new technology for everything from cutting video to organizing meetings.
"In the old days, you would get together and you meet together as a staff on everything," Harbaugh said. "The head coach would call a meeting and guys would be sitting in meetings really all night. That's what would make the day go forever.
"Nowadays, guys are little more independent. Even as a special teams coach, you work on your own. With the technology now, guys go into their office and get their work done. They can make their own schedule if you give them the chance to do it. ...Then you come together and you make a couple of decisions and you go with it."
