Cameron Dicker has found a home in Los Angeles.
The Chargers have agreed to an extension with the kicker, the team announced Friday. It's a four-year pact worth $22.04 million with $12.5 million in guarantees, 国产外流网Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported.
Nicknamed "Dicker the Kicker," the former Texas Longhorn began his 国产外流网career as an undrafted free agent with the Rams and made stops in Baltimore and Philadelphia before landing with the Chargers, for whom he converted a game-winning field goal in his first game in 2022. That start prompted the Chargers to permanently replace Dustin Hopkins with Dicker, who has been nothing but consistent in his time with the Chargers.
Over the last two seasons, Dicker has converted 50 of 53 attempts, including perfect marks from 20-39 yards (28 for 28 combined), just one miss from 40-49 yards (15 for 16), and a 7-of-10 line from 50-plus yards out. He's also a perfect 59 for 59 on extra points, providing the Chargers with reliability at a position that is often fickle in the NFL.
Los Angeles has rewarded him accordingly. Get used to seeing Dicker in powder blue and gold.
